BusinessPark 7Poort in Zevenaar has issued its largest plot of 190,000 m² to Solidiam in collaboration with Mobion and 3B group. Mr Ronald Egger, on behalf of Solmobig, put his signature on Friday 22 February 2019 under the agreement for the business plot in Zevenaar. Alderman Nanne van Dellen signed on behalf of the municipality of Zevenaar. An XXL distribution center is being developed on the 19-hectare site. The intention is to deliver the new accommodation by the end of 2020.
Growing 7Poort
The issuance of the 19 hectare lot is a big step for BusinessPark 7Poort and Zevenaar. Alderman Nanne van Dellen: “We are very happy that this location has been chosen. With the issue of the largest lot we have, we are taking a major step in the development of 7Poort, which also offers opportunities with regard to employment. I also expect that the arrival of the XXL distribution center will have a suction effect on other interested parties in 7Poort. It emphasizes the unique quality and location of 7Poort in relation to the important economic hotspots of the Netherlands, Germany and the European hinterland.
DC XXL
A multifunctional distribution center of over 130,000 m² is being developed on the plot where one or more logistics service providers can establish themselves. The preliminary design consists of five warehouses, with options for adjustments depending on logistics service providers who are going to establish themselves there.
